Zangak Publishing presents a comprehensive two-volume collection of the literary works of Hakob Mndzuri (1886–1978), a distinguished Istanbul-Armenian writer. Volume One includes 122 stories and other materials from Mndzuri’s renowned collections, many published for the first time. Born in Armtan village, Western Armenia, Mndzuri lost his family in the Armenian Genocide but continued to live in Istanbul, depicting his lost homeland and pre-1915 life through his writings. The book is compiled and annotated by poet and translator Hakob Movses.
