Where is Momo? Little Hoot’s come to rely on the nightly visits of her mouse friend. Although she felt she had everything she ever needed within her little nest once, the arrival of Momo changed things. She’s come to rely on him.

However, while Momo attempts to persuade Little Hoot of the wonder and possibilities of the world outside, Little Hoot insists ‘home is best’.

Then again, when Momo doesn’t appear one night, Little Hoot is concerned. It seems her friend’s visits mean so much that she cannot rest until Momo Mouse is ‘safely snuggled up‘ like her. Will his absence persuade Little Hoot to ‘pluck- up her courage and – step- out in[to] the night’? Thereafter, what might she find? What if Momo’s in trouble and needs her help?
