This workbook is designed to be used alongside the Pokr Mher textbook, created in Russia to teach Armenian to Armenian children. The vocabulary and topics covered in the textbook fully meet the everyday communication needs of children aged 5–14.

The textbook comes with recordings of all 25 lessons and two workbooks.

The Ayb workbook is intended for children aged 5–7 who are still in the early stages of acquiring and reinforcing Armenian. Alongside developing their spoken Armenian, they will learn to recognize Armenian printed letters and read words and simple sentences. The workbook’s exercises promote language development and vocabulary expansion.

The Ben workbook helps children aged 8–14 develop or improve their Armenian reading and writing skills. It can be used after completing any Armenian primer, alongside oral language instruction, or following the Ayb workbook once children have learned the alphabet.

The first 12 lessons of the Ben workbook consist of two parts. The first part is designed for children who begin to read and write, while the second part can be completed orally alongside textbook lessons. Those already familiar with reading and writing in Armenian complete the second part in writing. After lesson 13, all students complete the same written exercises.

Engaging and dynamic exercises in this workbook teach basic, practical grammar and reinforce the textbook’s themes.
