Mother Tongue 1st grade logically continues the ABC book. It has a clear structure of six themes, each of which includes 2–3 texts. The texts serve as a means of developing the learning outcomes defined by the Armenian language curriculum in four areas: knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes.
The textbook ensures a balance between all forms of language activity in Armenian language lessons, including written and oral work, speaking, and listening. The texts are studied through logically connected sections, which reflect the key components of Zangak Publishing House’s textbook development approach.
