The book presents a new Eastern Armenian translation of The Odyssey, the second epic poem by Homer (8th century BCE), one of the greatest poets of the ancient world and the founder of European literature. This translation is done from the original Ancient Greek text and includes an extensive introduction and annotations. The translation of The Iliad by Gohar Muradyan and Aram Topchyan was published in 2022. With this new edition, the complete literary legacy of Homer is now available in a modern translation. Few works can compare in significance and influence on European culture with these two immortal masterpieces.
